Desirable Requirements,. I . Knowledge of SQL, XML and Sun operating systems. 2. Experience working on one (1) project involving social policy and program analysis on a state or local governmental level, preferably with knowledge of welfare reform policy and requirements. 3. The proposed candidate should have direct experience with systems development in a web-based environment. This experience must demonstrate the candidate's ability to plan, code, and implement a distributed system (or systems) based upon the analysis of customer needs and requirements. 4. Experience working on one (1) project for the City of New York including at least one (1) year of experience with the NYCWAY, WMS, or other public assistance information systems. Tasks & Duties o Function as database administrator for the ALERTS Oracle database and backup administrator for the MIS collateral engine database. o Perform database design and ensure data security. o Perform system monitoring, performance monitoring, backup and migration functions. � As requested, the consultant will provide assistance to ORI in developing systems related to this project using Oracle, Cold Ice/Cold Fusion and other web technology development skills. � Design and develop the ALERTS interface and web-based applications to access related systems. � Design, development, programming and testing in Cold Ice/Cold Fusion as required completing the project objectives. � Implement and monitor systems enhancements. � Determine the security and user access to be provided for the system.
