As this New Media Developer for E-learning, you will be an integral member of a growing e-learning project team. You will be responsible for creating custom web based applications for use in a knowledge management e-learning environment. Applications include dynamic, interactive courseware, performance support tools, multimedia audio and video, and collaborative workspaces. You will be involved, along with instructional designers and subject matter experts (SME), in the defining of requirements for each project and throughout a standard software development process. Completing process documentation will be an integral part of your responsibilities.
This position will be located in our sector office in Dayton, Ohio.
Requirements:
- Strong skills with Macromedia Development Products, with an emphasis on ColdFusion, ActionScript, and Flash
- Ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written)
- Experience in an e-learning environment or in building dynamic interactive web applications.
- Familiarity with the entire software development life cycle
- Associate Degree in Math, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired:
- Experience with different forms of multimedia (i.e., audio, video, etc.) in dynamic web environments
- BS/BA Degree in Math, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
