Wanted: Mid-level Cold Fusion Web Developer for a national non-profit health organization. Our multi-faceted website is a major source of information for our constituents, containing detailed medical, social, and lifestyle content, as well as age-specific, community-driven, and special interactive sections. We are focused on providing our audience with a highly usable website and are looking for someone with a passion for creating user-centric applications.
The Web Developer is responsible for building and maintaining the organization's Web sites and keeping them running smoothly. This includes designing, building, and implementing new Web pages and sub-sites; integrating sub-sites with back end applications; migrating legacy applications to the Web; and performing day-to-day administration of the organization's Web portfolio. The applicant will have a minimum 2+ years Cold Fusion development experience. Certification in Cold Fusion preferred. Code sample requested. Required: In-depth knowledge of HTML/XHTML, Cold Fusion and SQL. Bonus: Knowledge of Commonspot CMS; familiarity with usability guidelines and accessibility/section 508 standards; Flash and Flash Remoting.
