You know what, seeing this thread makes me laugh; really, I am laughing out loud :)

Many of you know me through many projects and services I have provided for the ColdFusion Community (From CFM-Resources.Com to EasyCFM.COM to many speaking's I have done. to my service as part of Team Macromedia).

I have worked for a long time with Adam Cohen (www.colony1.net) they even donate hosting (A dedicated server just for EasyCFM.COM to be able to provide the services EasyCFM.COM does to the ColdFusion Community).. now a dedicated server I mean a fully loaded (dual Processor) ram to the max server. That is DEFINETLY NOT CHEAP! :)

I have worked with him as mentioned before for a very long time.. I still do freelance stuff for him and his company all the time. He has ALWAYS been fair with pay rate/hours billable and I have created things in which he would even pay extra for completing in timely manner (Would a cheap person do this?).

All in all, as a developer and a respected ColdFusion community leader, I would recommend working with Colony1. They are a great company that is growing. I can verify that they have not moved from office to office as mentioned on the message. They have a main corporate office in Gainesville and one in South Florida (which they recently moved into due to company growth).

Adam Cohen, is a straight up individual, truth be told HE IS firm and expects results (but then show me ONE employer that doesn't?). He works closely with his developers (so you can see how close, I moved from Florida to Texas due to personal reasons and he simply allowed me to work remote because that's the kind of guy he is, he could have let me go because of location, etc..) but, he chose to work with me in ways MOST companies will not even consider doing so.. so what does that say about his character?) I am not saying he's an angel (don't know the dude that close ;) )

But, keep in mind that he runs a business and makes business decisions(nothing more, nothing less).. Having been a business owner myself, I know that some decisions are hard to do, but if you want your business to prosper, then you have to make them) Business is Business, dont take it personal!

If you could NOT cut it as a developer then it was not his fault he had to move on to bigger and better things :) With that in mind, dont come out saying he was bad for this and that... have you stopped and asked yourself.. why I feel like I do? Maybe you brought it on yourself!

I would love to know who the person that wrote this was, just so if this person comes up as a "POSSIBLE CANDIDATE" at a job I am working on I can make sure and let those that need know NOT TO HIRE HIM/HER.

You are entitled to your opinion, however DON'T EXPECT to disrepected someone and not be responded to simply because you are "ANNONYMOUSLY POSTING"... And yes.. I have posted my name for you to know!

Who are you? Speak up! :)
