web designer / flash developer position

eCalton (www.ecalton.com) is a Web development company specializing in data driven web sites.  We have an opening for a Web Designer/ Flash Developer.  We're looking for a self-starter, with good teamwork, project management and communications skills, and the ability to work in a self-managed environment. The job is located at eCalton's headquarters office in sunny Vero Beach, Florida.

Requirements:

- BFA Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
- Thorough understanding of design principles/techniques; emphasis on Web design.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced graphic/web design environment.
- Strong creative & artistic prowess, including concept development & illustration.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash MX, and other leading design tools.
- Experience with hand-coded HTML, CSS, and _javascript_.
- Relentless attention to detail.
- Excellent client-service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- ColdFusion programming experience a big plus.
- ActionScript programming experience a plus.
- Database driven Flash application development a plus.
- Web site usability experience a plus.
- Agency experience a plus.

Typical work activities include:

- Web site design
- Flash application development
- Image file optimization and manipulation
- Some print design and layout for advertisements, brochures, etc.
- Site testing for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions;
