Job Advertisement: Software Developer

InsightAmerica, Inc. is a leading provider of public records access
technology. We are growing rapidly and are currently seeking to add a
Software Developer to our development team. Responsibilities will
include modifying existing Internet-based products as well as
designing and developing new product offerings. The ideal candidate
will have solid communication skills, excellent attention to detail,
demonstrated ability to learn quickly, and experience in all aspects
of the software development process including analysis, design,
implementation, testing, and delivery.
Job requirements:
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of web-development experience
- 2+ years of ColdFusion (CFML) experience
- 2+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience
- Experience developing web applications in a Windows NT environment
Preferred:
- Substantial experience with ColdFusion MX, especially CFCs
- Advanced SQL knowledge and/or SQL Server DBA experience
- Familiarity with the Fusebox methodology and/or the Mach-II framework
- Fluent understanding of _javascript_ and Cascading Stylesheets (CSS)
- Experience building web services (XML)
- Experience with Java programming or another scripting language (e.g.
ASP, Python, PHP)
- Working knowledge of source-control applications (VSS or CVS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, C.I.S., or a related field
