Job Duties:
� Responsible for producing, managing, creating and maintaining content and functionality of AIA.org Web properties.
� Collaborate with design and development to coordinate and deliver comprehensive online content and applications.
� Develop and maintain dynamic templates for incorporation of content into the content management system.
� Review, edit and post all content submitted to the AIA Web site from editors and others via the content management system.
� Recommend placement of content across the site, relating articles to topics wherever they might reside.
� Write headlines, summaries, promotions, instructions, and all other such secondary copy for the Web to ease use and clearly identify content.
� Prepare graphics, photos as needed to illustrate pages.
� Work with editors and AIA staff to assure AIA editorial and graphic standards are met.
� Develop Web writing and editing manual for AIA staff.
� Serve as primary contact with Content Providers, Knowledge and Relationships teams, as well as other departments.
� Work with staff to continue training and upgrading content management system.

KSAs and Training and Experience:
Extensive knowledge in producing a Web site and how content is developed; experience with content-management systems preferred. Proven ability to be innovative and create unique solutions. Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously. Extensive experience with the use of HTML, Dreamweaver MX, Cold Fusion, and Photoshop. Experience with Fireworks, Flash, and Illustrator a plus. Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, manage multiple projects successfully, and maintain strong attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills. Strong editorial skills, including writing, editing and content development. Skill with Microsoft Office, other Adobe packages, and Internet and WWW protocols. Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn the various organizations involved with and affiliated with the AIA is required. Familiarity with information resources relevant to the architectural profession is helpful.
Bachelor�s degree in Liberal Arts, Communications or related field. Three to five years of experience in Web site production and development preferred.
