Cold Fusion Developer
The American Society for Engineering Education is seeking a Cold Fusion
developer with 1 to 3 years of experience. Excellent communication
skills are required as the successful candidate will be working with a
senior developer for specific assignments as well as participating in
the full life cycle of software development. Our development environment
is primarily Windows and SQL Server based, but exposure to UNIX and
multiple software development languages is a plus. Experience with
coding standards and a source control repository is beneficial. You will
be participating in requirements gathering, testing, user and
maintenance documentation, as well as coding, on a wide variety of
projects, so an interest in the eclectic is also beneficial.
ASEE is a non profit organization which was founded in 1891. We use
computer technology extensively to enable communication in all aspects
of engineering education. We host our own web sites and databases on
several in house servers. We intend to continue to increase our use of
the internet and the web and keep current with technology. The working
environment is casual. The location is very convenient to the Dupont
Circle metro station.
