Advanta Solutions, Inc., a consulting firm in the Los Angeles area, is seeking a skilled ColdFusion developer for work on new and existing projects. We can provide either part-time or full-time work to the right person.
The ideal candidate will have: - Formal training in computer science and database design in particular - 3 or more years of experience building dynamic, data-based websites and applications - Advanced skills with SQL Server - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Excellent references demonstrating skills and work, ethic and integrity - Experience with Flash/CF integration (Flash 5 and up) is a significant plus You must be a US citizen or have a green card. Responsibilities will involve: - Analyzing business requirements - Working from, developing and updating functional specifications - Developing new software - Supporting existing customers - Coding, coding, coding! - Developing estimates - Local computer and network configuration/support - Working with SQL Server and on occasion, Oracle Work will be performed out of our downtown Long Beach offices and at clients' sites in the LA area. Travel out of LA is unlikely.
