Job Description: The Programmer/Analyst is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications supporting the identification, integration, extraction, and transformation of data into product ready information. The Programmer/Analyst works with our technical team and interfaces directly with external vendors/data providers at a technical level to define data requirements and resolve data integrity issues. This individual assumes the role of project leader at times for projects of significant impact requiring the coordination of systems design, development, testing, and implementation activities for new or existing systems. The Programmer/Analyst analyzes system requirements, prepares documentation reflecting present procedures, and prepares program specifications conforming to established standards. The Programmer/Analyst will utilize project management facilities and techniques to monitor application development projects, estimate feasibility, time and cost of proposed projects, prepare project status reports, and make formal presentations to management as necessary. Requirements: * 5+ years experience with system design, analysis, and database driven web development using a variety of programming and scripting languages including Cold Fusion and JavaScript. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server required. XML and .Net experience is a plus. * Proven skills in all levels of application design and development in a multi-server environment. * Must have strong data analysis and data manipulation skills, and understand the concepts of program and data testing. * Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a project team, with technical knowledge and experience in project management techniques. * Experience with Windows operating systems; knowledge and familiarity of web based and client server architecture. * Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. * Resumes submitted without salary history and/or salary requirements will not be considered.
