Experience: 6 months ColdFusion MX experience, Database experience in Oracle (preferred) or SQL Server ( Clearance: Secret (US Citizenship Required). Location: Crystal City (Arlington), VA ASD has an opening for an entry-level CF programmer position. This is a US Government contract with 3 years remaining. This position is ideal for someone with an existing US Government security clearance who has been working in ColdFusion for several months and wants to make the move to a full-time programmer/developer position. Our ideal candidate is interested in advancing their career through hard work and training. This position will have growth potential. Experience with one of the major DBMSs is required (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase) and experience with Access, MySQL is a plus. Experience with and structured programming framework (Fusebox, Mach II, customized) is a plus. Experience developing for a portal is a plus. Experience with Java J2EE or ASP would be a plus as well. Demonstrable experience with JavaScript is a plus. We know you know HTML. Our ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and the ability to communicate with a wide variety of customers and clients. A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and solid work/time management skills will be a deciding factor. This position is a junior member on a team of developers.
