Description The Engineer, Application (International) is responsible for maintaining and implementing applications and solutions relevant to our customer's web site. As part of a world-class 24x7 web site, they will be responsible for delivering applications that are scalable and flexible to maximize the customer's potential in the relevant markets. - Building, maintaining, testing, debugging and deploying global applications - Monitoring the applications and maintaining performance and availability targets in line with SLA�s. - Ad hoc projects as required. Position Requirements - 4+ years ColdFusion programming experience on a public website involving access to a database including at least 1 years experience with CFMX and writing components - Previous experience with high traffic or high transactional applications. - Experience with internationalization and localization is key. - Experience writing and maintaining functional and technical specifications. - Experience configuring and monitoring hardware preferred. - Able to work independently with minimal supervision. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Highly numerate and analytical. - Effective interpersonal and listening skills. - Proven ability to set priorities. - Excellent problem solving skills.
