Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology preferred Advanced CFMX Developer Certification preferred 4+ years of real-world experience developing high-traffic, mission-critical web applications using Macromedia ColdFusion (minimum CFMX 6.1) 2+ years of real-world database experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Required Roles and Experience ----------------------------- Technical project management experience creating development, qa, and deployment project plans - Database schema architect responsible for database schema changes - Support experience identifying, correcting, testing, and deploying resolutions for existing application defects - Quality assurance experience creating, documenting, executing, and interpreting test plan results - Project team experience receiving and implementing customer-defined project requirements Desired CFMX Skills -------------------- - a strong understanding of CFMX tag/function libraries with an emphasis on cfcs, user defined functions, and object-oriented development concepts - understanding of CFMX application frameworks (including fusebox, Mach II, etc) - ability to identify, measure, and resolve CFMX-related performance issues - familiarity with version and change control concepts and software - knowledge and experience having administered high-traffic CFMX applications - the ability to create, understand, and relate use cases to application functionality - exposure and adherence to a formalized quality assurance process - Real-world Java/J2EE/J2ME/JSF application development experience a plus Desired SQL Server 2000 Skills ------------------------------ - a strong understanding of T-SQL with an emphasis on stored procedure/user defined function development - understanding of database modeling, schema development, and version management concepts - understanding of *.sql script performance analysis concepts (use of execution plan and performance metrics) - familiarity with SQL Server 2000 architecture and related tools (MS Query Analyzer, MS SQL Profiler) Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work well in a team or individually. Ideal individual is a self-starter with strong organizational skills.
