Atlanta Software Engineering position Our customer is a national software company in the banking industry, and is looking for a seasoned ColdFusion developer to join their team. This opportunity will initially be a contract and will most likely lead to a permanent opportunity. The evolution of the position will initially start by doing bug fixes and enhancements, and then move directly into ongoing customer – related projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience using ColdFusion with the Fusebox standard framework along with the Model-View-Controller (MVC) design patterns. Experience in working in larger development teams is critical to this opportunity. The consultant will be expected to take on specific parts of the overall development effort, and through critical thinking and technical experience, architect and develop code which are consistent with the standards and quality which expected by customers. Because our client’s main customer are financial institutions, a background in security is highly desirable. Also, any experience with Oracle would be a bonus. Experience working with Rational Rose or other methodology would be beneficial as well.
