ColdFusion MX and Oracle Developer CARFAX, the leading provider of vehicle history information, is seeking a ColdFusion and Oracle developer to join its Information Services group in Fairfax, VA. The developer will be part of a small team responsible for the design, development, integration, implementation and maintenance of mission-critical enterprise applications and databases, the corporate intranet, and other tools to support the business.
Job Functions -Work with development team on large-scale, technically complex projects. -Work independently on small projects and maintenance tasks. -Participate in the full development lifecycle for assigned projects - including requirements definition, design and testing. -Create documentation and contribute to standards for internal applications. -Review and test other developers' code. Qualifications -Minimum of three years web application development with ColdFusion. -Minimum of two years database development with Oracle 9i-10g - SQL and PL/SQL. -Strong knowledge of ColdFusion MX (6.1). -Strong Data Modeling and Database design skills. -Knowledge of web standards, XHTML, XML, CSS and Javascript. -Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle. -Java/J2EE experience preferred. -OOA/D and UML experience preferred. -MSSQL Server 7/2000 experience preferred. -CS degree preferred.
