We are currently looking for a very proficient ColdFusion developer with excellent MS SQL Server database skills to join a small, high-powered technical team in the NYC metro area. The right candidate will have strong systems architectural design, application development and interpersonal skills. They must be able to develop applications under set deadlines and communicate well with others, including clients, while working independently. Qualifications: At least 5+ years experience in systems design/analysis and web-based application development using Cold Fusion. We seek someone with skill and practice in the design, development and maintenance of complex data systems implemented in Cold Fusion/SQL Server, not just the use of Cold Fusion as a simple website interface builder. Experience in the creation of content management, application publishing and/or code generation software is desirable. A strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server with extensive database design experience including Transact SQL coding, Stored Procedures and DTS. Proficiency in HTML and Javascript Citable experience in every phase of the software development lifecycle Extensive knowledge in shaping functional requirements and translating them into relevant technical requirements. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Experience with the FuseBox programming framework, a definite plus Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience, a definite plus. This position is initially an offsite telecommuting position limited to candidates in the NYC metro area only.
