General Description of Duties:
Perform web-based software engineering tasks including all aspects of
software life cycle development - requirements definition, database design,
system design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation.
Perform web server administration tasks including management of monitoring and
search functions. Provide technical review and guidance on corporate web-based
initiatives. Provide some technical leadership to other team members.
Work experience requirements: BOTH MUST BE US CITIZENS
Three to five years in information technology field; three years in web
application development, one year in project management and system
administration. Strong technical, project management, and interpersonal skills
are all required. Must have solid working knowledge of: ColdFusion MX 6.1
(programming and administration), web server administration, Oracle 8i, SQL
Plus, JavaScript, CSS, and XHTML/XML. Must be good at integration of systems
tying in a variety of business processes and managing multiple projects.
Candidate must be a self-starter, detail and process oriented, and possess
strong problem solving skills.
Desired experience: Web Services (WSDL, SOAP), Java/J2EE, web portal
technologies.
Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree in information technology, computer science, or related
field.
