Dear Everyone,

I thank you all for your helpful comments, and I thought I would clarify the
situation.

IMDB is indeed a wonderful site, and a site I use on a daily basis as part
of my work. However, the difference between the initiative I am setting up
with other members of the West End, is that we will be representing clients
directly, acting as their agent for the Entertainment industry. This is the
work
I have been doing for seven years, and am by no means expecting, nor trying,
to eclipse IMDB.

In response to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]) email, I would
like to point out that although there is no fee being offered up front, the
position would be contracted on a profit share basis. This is the way much of
the entertainment industry works when an initiative starts, and have been so
far impressed at the level of interest in the position. I presume that
cpiliotis is not enthusiastic about working on a profit share agreement, and
is
therefore probably professionally and financially in a position to make those
decisions. However, I do believe that it could be valuable (and hopefully
profitable) experience for someone who has perhaps just graduated, or is
looking
to diversify their resume, and I thank everyone who emailed me showing their
interest in the project.

In response to RR's comments about the "good idea", I would like to state
that the initiative is merely supported by a well developed, well functioning
web based application, and is not a self sufficient system (like IMDB, for
example), the agents will recruit artists for the agency primarily, and will
use
the system as an effective way to keep up to date worldwide with all of the
artists. By no means am I trying to become an "internet bazillionaire", but
would like the integration of the system to directly benefit the artists
represented by and the employees of the agency.

I hope this has clarified the situation somewhat, and please feel free to
email me should anyone have any further questions.

Yours sincerely,

Dan Blumenau
