We're seeking: IT Database Administrator We need a Database Administrator (DBA) to help plan, create and oversee SQL-Server and MS-Access databases. You will work with several applications: Baan, CRM Applications, Crystal Reports and SupportMagic. Our goal is to build a report library for all our users, and you'll be the one getting it done. You'll be writing SQL queries, inventing new reports and giving our manufacturing, purchasing and sales teams the knowledge they need to be more productive. Your to-do list includes report writing, logical and physical database design, application upgrades and resource planning. Qualifications: a.. MUST HAVE strong SQL query and script writing experience; b.. MUST HAVE 2+ years of experience with Crystal Reports; c.. 2 years hands-on experience with database administration using SQL Server and Access; d.. 2 years experience with ERP software packages (Baan preferred); e.. 1 year experience administering CRM/Contact management applications like Goldmine or ACT!; f.. 1 year experience administering troubleticket/help desk management applications like SupportMagic, Magic Service Desk, Magic TDS or Remedy; g.. Must have an ability to work well with all levels of the company, and an ability to gently point out technical impossiblities to wishful users; h.. Experience with ColdFusion a strong plus. Education/Experience: Prefer a four-year degree, or equivalent technical or military experience. Travel: Worst case of 3 weeks per year expected.
