WEB DEVELOPER University of Colorado at Boulder $3325 - $3800/month depending on qualifications
Candidates MUST be a COLORADO RESIDENT The Continuing Education and Professional Studies Division (CEPS) of the University of Colorado at Boulder is seeking a Web Developer. Responsibilities for this position include: Support of the CEPS internet and intranet web sites by using the most appropriate programming languages and technology. Manages a variety of projects for internal departments by prioritizing, collecting information and developing products. Keeping up-to-date on industry standards for security, implementation, application architecture and best coding practices. Works with the Webmaster to establish and maintain relationships with other campus agencies on web-related matters. Maintains records and reports to document the administration of units web resources. The successful candidate will have four years of web development experience focusing on Object Oriented ColdFusion architecture and ColdFusion Components (CFCs) in a secure web environment. Knowledge of Coldfusion functions, Coldfusion tags, custom tags, user defined functions and secure coding practices is a must. Candidate should be fluent in Coldfusion server administration including data source configurations, tuning and optimizations. Experience described should include database design/architecture experience with the ability to understand database structures in order to formulate complex queries. At least two years of experience with CSS. Should be skilled in Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
