Political Systems, LLC has an immediate opening for a permanent ColdFusion MX Developer to join our team building our flagship application. This position will be located in our headquarters in Beverly Hills, and all work must be completed on-site without exception. Applicants must meet all qualifications to be considered.
Job Description: The ColdFusion MX Developer will work as part of a growing software development team. The position requires strong organizational, development, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to develop applications under set deadlines, communicate well with others in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Include ⢠Develop ColdFusion applications under pre-set timelines and technical specifications ⢠Work closely with a small development team on the development of flagship application ⢠Create technical specifications documents as well as other forms of documentation ⢠Participate in QA efforts Qualifications ⢠5+ years architecting and enterprise class, mission critical ColdFusion applications ⢠2+ years developing applications using ColdFusion MX ⢠2+ years working with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Enterprise Manager ⢠Demonstrable expertise with Object Oriented Programming and ColdFusion MX code design architectures ⢠3+ years HTML ⢠2+ years CSS (positioning, font management, layout) ⢠2+ years XML, XSLT ⢠2+ years JavaScript ⢠Visual Source Safe ⢠Demonstrated experience using ColdFusion to manipulate XML data structures ⢠DNS/MX Record Management ⢠Experience in planning and executing application development projects including: o Specification development and systems design o Application development and prototyping o Application deployment and maintenance ⢠Experience with bulk e-mailing applications a plus ⢠Experience with inFusion Mail Server a plus ⢠Experience with VB, C#, C++, or Java desirable ⢠BS / MS Computer Science / MIS Degree (or equivalent) required Compensation Commensurate with experience and market rates.
