Company is searching for a dynamic, energetic and driven Senior
Internet Application Web Developer at our corporate headquarters
located in West Kingston, RI. This position will be responsible for
creating and supporting cutting edge web based applications that
integrate with APC's information systems. Responsibilities include
internet application design and development using client and server
technologies.
* Creating and maintaining database driven web-based applications
* Updating and maintaining corporate web site(s)
* Resolving site and application bugs
* Writing user and technical documentation
The ideal candidate will possess a four-year degree in Information
Systems, Computer Science or other technical field (or equivalent
experience). Candidates should also possess a minimum of five years of
web application development experience using ColdFusion MX, MS SQL
2000, JavaScript, and CSS. Knowledge in XML, Java, OOP concepts, RIA
(Ajax, Flex, OpenLaszlo), and Web Services is highly desired. The
successful candidates will have the ability to design, document, and
manage web applications using industry standards such as UML The
candidate must possess excellent organizational, customer service and
communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be team player, able to
work independently (manage own work effectively, show initiative, able
to focus and prioritize) but seek assistance readily when needed.
