Tracking Code:ATS/RM-499 Job Description SilkRoad technology, Inc., a leading collaborative community management software provider, is seeking a top candidate to perform web application development in support of our Applicant Tracking/Recruiting Management software, OpenHire.
This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Candidates will perform duties that require the following qualifications: - Application design and development with a focus on web technologies, databases, and user interface principles and techniques - Extensive knowledge of ColdFusion, ASP/VBScript, HTML/DHTML, and XML - A well-rounded knowledge in creating and executing stored procedures/queries against relational databases; primarily SQL Server 2000 - Experience with globalization, localization, and internationalization of web applications Candidates will be expected to: - Demonstrate proven skills in requirements gathering and documentation - Lead and manage full life cycle system development activities (requirements definition, design, development, testing:verification/validation), implementation, and quality assurance - Translate functional requirements into software with minimal guidance - Work alone, or provide general guidance to team members, to ensure timely delivery of specific assignments and projects - Demonstrate effective verbal and written communications skills. Previous experience as an application developer in a professional work environment is a must; 2 to 3 years experience. College graduates are preferred.
