Brief Job Description: The Systems Analyst is responsible for analysis, design, development, and documentation of desktop and web-based applications & systems including: Customer Support System, Rational, Softrax, Corporate Intranet, Partner Extranet, Client Extranet. The Systems Analyst works closely with the Corporate Business Systems Manager, QA, Tech Support, Marketing, and other resources. Requirements of the Job: -Minimum of 2 years of ColdFusion application development experience. -Exposure to and/or experience with Java & JSP -Relational database development experience with MSSQL server and Mysql -Solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, XHTML. -Understanding of WebServices and XML. -Experience with calling web services from Java and ColdFusion MX. -Extremely thorough, analytical, and focused on details. -Ability to work independently/efficiently and to thrive in a fast-paced environment. -An appreciation for Rapid Application Development practices. -Able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization. Additional Requirements Desired: -Experience developing web-applications in Ruby. -Experience with Spring, Hibernate, Lucene. -Experience developing and supporting Rational applications.
