We are wrapping development of our web application and our current contract
developer has become bogged down with too much outside work. We're looking
to build a long-term working relationship with a freelance developer
experienced in CFMX7, Fusebox 4.1, and SQLServer 2000. We have an immediate
need for finalizing some features, application roll out, and debugging.
After that, we would consider moving into a retainer relationship for bug
maintenance and special projects.

BACKGROUND:
Our developer has done a great job on the code and he was good in
transferring business needs into programming. The app structure and database
are very straighforward. We sell the app in an ASP format to large
organizations needing to build community with their members. The app
includes features like: Electronic newsletters (that can optionally go to a
printshop in Denver), Email blaster, flyers, postcards, event calendar,
member directory, and mini-shopping cart. There is extensive backend admin
control and a hiearchy of control for clients who want to have
"sub-clients". We are currently selling the service to member-based
organizations.

I'm a former project manager and coder (up to CF 5.0) but only have time for
dealing with clients and prospects. We are based in the Denver area with a
major partner in D.C. and our current clients are in Oklahoma. So we are
used to working long-distance and traveling when needed. Denver and D.C.
areas get priority but we're open to any locale for the right person.

We expect the first project to require about 16-24 hours of work to
complete. After the rollout and initial bugs are fixed, the time
requirements will depend on how the bugs pan out. We have a decent size CMS
project already scoped and ready to go after that. Long-term we expect about
10-20 hours a month of work. For this first project we need to hit he ground
running so only folks with high-end MX7 and Fusebox chops need apply. Does
this sound like something you want to move foreward with? Send an email with
some background info (former projects, skillset) and let's set up a time for
a call.
