CDI Corporation (http://www.cdicorp.com) is looking for an experienced ColdFusion Developer to become a key member of our development team. A solid background in hands-on development with ColdFusion MX and SQL Server is a must. The ideal candidate will have experience with concurrent software development using a formal software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology, preferably in a regulated industry. Object-oriented software design and IT administration skills are desired but not required. Experience with scalability, security, reliability and maintenance issues is a plus. This position requires excellent time management and communication skills. Responsibilities: Translate requirements into efficient and well structured code. Create and maintain clear code and design documentation. Unit test own code. Conduct and document impact analyses on change requests. Required Experience: 3+ years hands-on development experience in web/database systems. 3+ years experience in ColdFusion, with at least one year using MX and CFCs. 2+ years experience with SQL Server 2000 and Transact-SQL. Must be able to write stored procedures and UDF's. 3+ years hand-coding HTML, JavaScript and cascading style sheets. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
