Here's the description posted online: Summary of Duties: Assumes responsibility for the design, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing applications and services, primarily web based for the college; maintains documentation of code, projects, services, and applications, including both end user and administrative manuals; develops policies and templates to promote consistency; identifies needs and suggests methods of providing improved services. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer & information science or an equivalent combination of education and experience; at least two years experience with Cold Fusion, PHP, ASP, .NET languages for new and existing systems, as well as extending 3rd party applications; experience with MS SQL 2000, MySQL and related database design, including data modeling and T-SQL; knowledge of developing cross-platform, stand alone applications for Mac OS X and Windows based systems; experience working independently and as a member of a team.
