Whatever your preferred title (Application developer, Web programmer,
Software Engineer), we're looking for you to join our team!

You will understand the goals of the project and how the final application
will make the client better.
You will create integrated Web sites for clients that encompass content
management systems, e-commerce, and personalization.
You will be involved in the entire project life cycle, from the development
of the specifications, design of the user interface, database design and
construction, programming, and gathering of client feedback.
You will be consulted by the new business team when Matrix develops
proposals and budgets.
You will design relational databases that serve as the back-end to dynamic
Web sites.
You will help clients re-engineer their business processes to streamline
workflow, eliminate paper mailings, eliminate duplicate data entry, and save
money.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes programmers,
designers, webmasters and project managers to develop and implement
effective Web strategies for clients.
You will develop Web applications that exceed industry and Matrix coding
standards.


You will thrive in this position at Matrix if:

You have experience and are interested in a variety of programming
languages, including
-- Cold Fusion
-- ASP .NET
-- PHP
-- action scripting.
You enjoy experimenting with new techniques, including AJAX and Flex .
You believe that code should be elegant and clean, and that coding is a
creative act.
You go beyond the specifications by making suggestions for making
applications better and flagging sections that don't make sense.
You are a star troubleshooter.

Recent projects include:
 IBuild - a project leads database for a leading trade association that
features thousands of construction project leads, including blueprints and
project specifications, viewable and searchable.  Project was developed
using CFMX 7, AJAX, XML, SQL Server 2005.  Web site is deployed on multiple
Web and database servers.
AccreditNet - an online portal for a top accreditation company that allows
health plans to submit their accreditation applications online and the staff
to review documents, score applications, and generate reports and letters.
Project was developed using ASP .NET 2.0, AJAX, SQL Server 2005.
George Washington's Mount Vernon - complete overhaul of the entire site,
including content management system, e-commerce, calendar, knowledge base,
membership application, interactive Flash movies, and online matching game.
