One of our clients is looking for a permanent placement for a Senior Cold Fusion Developer with .NET experience in the city of Ottawa, Canada.
Work "could" initially be available on a contract basis, with a full time position for the long term if both parties agree. The ideal candidate holds an undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science or equivalent and has at least five years experience working in a customer-focused, web-based company. Start Date: Immediate Job Responsibilities: - Develop Program Specifications; - Perform Application Testing Activities; - Translate Business-IT Requirements; - Understand Data Models; - Use Application Development Methodologies and Tools; - Use Application Strategies for Maintenance; - Use Full Life Cycle; - Create unit tests and assist in testing plans. Key Skills Required: - 4+ years Coldfusion experience (CF5 to MX); - 3+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedure development and strong SQL Skills; - 5+ years experience building web applications; - Experience in e-commerce systems; - XML experience; - Ability to Diagnose and troubleshoot; - Ability to work through complete software development life cycle: obtain project requirements from users, produce functional specifications, work through testing and bug fixes; - Ability to prioritize tasks and to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines; - Excellent communication skills (written and oral); - Enjoy working in a dynamic team.
