E-agency (www.e-agency.com) is looking for a fulltime, in-house ColdFusion Web Developer (PHP experience a plus). We occasionally need freelance developers too, but we need a fulltime person ASAP.
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic Web sites. Strong working knowledge of ColdFusion is required to maintain Web sites we have previously developed. Future Web sites will be developed in either PHP or ColdFusion depending on site requirements. We develop marketing and Intranet sites for our clients that include features such as secure logins, shopping carts, CMS, customized forms, site search and admin panels. Requirements: ⢠Web Development: PHP, ColdFusion ⢠Database Development: MS SQL Server, MySQL, Access ⢠Presentation Layer: XHTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript ⢠Operating Systems: Win 98/NT/XP, UNIX, Mac OS ⢠Design: general working knowledge of Photoshop ⢠5 or more years professional experience ⢠BS/BA or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Experience in systems administration, systems integration, Dreamweaver, Flash, Actionscripting, and/or Illustrator are a plus. Responsibilities include: ⢠Database design, develop, maintain. ⢠Convert Photoshop designs to XHTML/CSS and dynamic Web sites. ⢠Support and maintain previously developed sites. ⢠Work in collaboration with account managers, designers and clients. ⢠Recommend new features into existing sites and improve the code and techniques currently being used. ⢠Take part in new product development, from planning to development to deployment. ⢠Work with or rewrite "legacy" code on older sites. ⢠Code to W3C standards. ⢠Team player with excellent communication skills. ⢠Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
