client is Major Publishing Company and Another one is Health Care Netwrok
Provider.
We have DIRECT ACCESS TO HIRING MANAGERS. WE CURRENTLY HAVE 5 PEOPLE WORKING IN
HEALTH CARE NETWROK PROVIDER COLDFUSION DEVELOPMENT TEAM.
We have 1 PERSON CURRENTLY WORKING IN PUBLISHING CLIENT COLDFUSION DEVELOPMENT
TEAM. WE USED HAVE 9 OF THEM 1YEAR BEFORE. 3 PEOPLE CONVERTED AS FULL TIME AND
5 PEOPLE CONTRACCT ENDED
JOB Location for Publishing Compnay is North Jersey (Old Tappan) and Job
Location for Health Care Network Provider is NYC (mid town).
JOb TYPE: Health Care Network provider client is open for Contract to Hire or
Striagt Contract (Its very long term Oppourtunity).
Publishing client would like hire consultnats for 9 months with
possibility of EXTENSION
JOB DESCRIPTION
The ColdFusion Developer works with a multi member development team and codes
web applications on a ColdFusion MX platform.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Technical Development Manager in designing system architecture and
drafting technical specifications for new and existing applications
- Build and maintain highly scalable and dynamic web applications utilizing
ColdFusion MX and DHTML
- Code ColdFusion Components (CFCs) for reusable code and interaction with
business
logic / database
- Utilize advanced JavaScript and DHTML to create a highly interactive user
interface
- Adhere to rigid coding standards and best practices when coding software;
Perform code reviews of other developers
- Assist Application Support Team in analysis of production level issues
Code and maintain embedded SQL in existing applications; Work with PL-SQL
Developers to convert to stored procedures
Required Skills
- ColdFusion MX; JavaScript; DHTML; CSS; XML; XSL; SQL
- Must be detailed oriented and must possess a strong drive to deliver quality,
consistent results
- Experience working as part of a large development team and within a multi
team
SDLC Solid understanding of ColdFusion Components (CFC) and object oriented
programming techniques; Experience with object-oriented and services-oriented
architectures and methodologies
- Experience working with Software Configuration Management (SCM) tools
Ability to work within a set framework and adhere to rigid coding standards
Desired Skills
- UML; ASP.NET; C#; VB; JAVA / J2EE; JSP
