Job Location: Silver Spring, Maryland or Chevy Chase, MD Responsibilities: Abacus Technology is looking for an in-house Developer to assist in the development and maintenance of all in-house applications with a focus on ColdFusion components and frameworks. They will be responsible for writing well-documented, well-structured code that follows specific guidelines as well as the current architecture in place currently. They will work on user interface design adhering to standards, assist in bug fixes and enhancements, and helping to better organize/optimize current and future code. This person will be very familiar with design patterns, Fusebox, and have extensive experience using ColdFusion Components, User Defined Functions, and Custom Tags. This person will be a hard worker, requiring minimal guidance. They will also have a desire to keep up with technology and stay on top of the ever-changing web technologies in an effort to provide the best solution to a problem.
