POSITION SUMMARY: Provide customer support for military bases by maintaining databases that support operational health data for military installations. Assist management with ongoing projects to include project scheduling, manpower, and funding. Report data to vendors, consultants, and military representatives. Data requirements are supported by a Microsoft Windows based local area network (LAN). Data repositories are stored in Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Access.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: â¢Develop and maintain three web-based products using ColdFusion and MS Sql Server. â¢Meet task order requirements with little rework and provide written responses of acceptance or clarification within 24 hours of receipt of the task. â¢Meet major and minor milestones and coordinate schedule updates. Accurately project and forecast schedule throughout the entire project. â¢Respond to customer/DOS requests for technical assistance within 24 hours of notification. â¢Develop and submit continuity packages of each application for approval. â¢Interact with personnel to produce approved database or software requirements specification documents. â¢Use approved requirements specification documents to design, develop, and implement database structures to satisfy information storage and retrieval requirements. â¢Maintain a continuity package to include tasks, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and points of contact. â¢Provide software specifications for all software application developed for systems QUALIFICATIONS: â¢Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems with a minimum 3 yearâs experience or 4-7 experience will be accepted in lieu of education. â¢Proficiency in SQL Server, MS Access, and Macromedia Cold Fusion.
