Our client is looking for a JAVA/Flex Application developer to be responsible for application development of interactive, dynamic enterprise level sites leveraging the latest development methodologies in Adobe ColdFusion (you do not need to have Coldfusion experience but it is preferred that you do), Adobe Flex 2, Action Script 3, and AJAX. You will be responsible for website server administration including server configuration and maintenance, Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft IIS administration. As part of the corporate marketing web team, you will join a progressive team working on leading edge projects. The team is committed to using the latest web development processes and tools including agile development methods. Projects include developing business metrics and reporting sites, developing templates and modules for content management systems, building high traffic customer facing sites and building business decision management and application tools. Must have proven expertise in web applications development, database development, site layout and design, creation of reporting and content sites using XML and XSLT, and advanced JAVA development experience. Must have strong grasp of technologies such as Action Script, XML/XHTML and XSLT, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, Flash Remoting, and Fusebox. Requires strong communication skills, ability to interact with customers to determine needs and requirements. Must be able to produce high quality web applications in a fast-paced environment. Individual must be highly motivated and self-directed. Requires the ability to work on multiple projects at once and effectively manage small projects. As part of a large web development team, you will be responsible for architecture, component development, code development, and integration and test on large projects and must have the ability to work well in a team environment.
Job Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS ยท Bachelors degree in related field. Four years producing web sites with advanced technologies including Flex and Action Script. Four years JAVA development experience. Must be able to demonstrate work and code samples from multiple projects. Experience in ColdFusion application development including use of Object Oriented design practices a plus!
