Job Description:
You will modify a Cold Fusion MX Web-based application with portions of
the code written in JavaScript. As needed, create new Cold Fusion and/or
WebSphere/J2EE code.
Design, develop & implement web services.
The database is Oracle 10.2.0.2. You will, as needed, design & code
Stored Procedures.
Resources required are:
Cold Fusion, Java, Web Services, WebSphere, and Oracle.
Skills:
· Design, develop & implement web services that will process requests
received from and send responses back to the Application System.
· Modify existing ColdFusion MX code to incorporate Web Services and
related technologies such as SOAP messages, XML documents, and WSDL
· If necessary, create new ColdFusion and/or WebSPhere/J2EE code to
incorporate Web Services and related technologies such as SOAP messages, XML
documents, and WSDL
· If necessary, design, code, and implement stored procedures that
improve processing at the Database level (Oracle 10g)
· Participate in testing the developed solution using the CompuWare
Testing Toolset
· Assume a leading role in deployment of the Application Web Services
solution into the Companyâs technology infrastructure
· Mentor fellow team members/programmers
Experience:
· At least 5 years hands-on paid software development experience in
design and coding of applications.
· At least 3 years in Java, Cold Fusion MX, Object-Oriented software
development
· Working experience or strong conceptual understanding of general web
services and related technologies
· Working experiences or strong conceptual understanding of ColdFusion MX
web services
· Working experience in using Windows 2000/2003 and UNIX (Solaris).
· Working experience in using J2EE platform to design and to develop
multi-tier web applications.
· Working experience in multi-threading applications.
· Working experience in large-scale, enterprise systems implementation
with through understanding of system development methodology.
