We are seeking a full-time Web Application Developer to develop and maintain robust front end and back end web applications to support all three media products. The ideal candidate would be responsible for the full software life-cycle of existing and newly developed applications, including requirements gathering, development, deployment, maintenance and documentation. Attention to detail and a positive âcan doâ attitude are a must. This position would report directly to the Web Director. Responsibilities: ⢠Develop, design, code (with full commenting), and maintain web applications ⢠Stay current with the newest online technologies; research new technologies and make recommendations on implementations ⢠Collaborate effectively with management, creative, and sales teams Required Coding Skills: ColdFusion MX --Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge HTML--Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge XHTML--Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge XML--Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge CSS--Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge MSSQL2005--Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge ..NET-- Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge Good understanding of and prior development experience with common ColdFusion frameworks including Model-Glue, Reactor ORM, ColdSpring, etc. Experience creating web applications that interact server side via XML. Preferred Skills JAVA-Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge Javascript-Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge Other programming languages (ASP, PHP, AJAX) a plus. Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree Masterâs Degree preferred 1-3 Years of web development and maintenance for database driven web applications.
