Our Client, which is a financial institution, is looking to add a Sr. Cold Fusion Developer to their staff on contract basis. The initial contract is for 6 months, and there is strong possibility for extension to a year. After a year the consultant would have to either go perm or leave the project.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES This person will develop, QA, debug, and document web applications built using Coldfusion (CFML), SQL, JavaScript, CSS and XHTML, J2EE. In addition, they will work to web-enable internal business processes and enhancing corporate websites. Collaboration with Web Developers, SQL Developers, Systems Administrators and Marketing resources will be a key part of the job. One key challenge is that there is a lot of ad hoc work. This person needs to be able to respond to a number of different and have the ability to adapt quickly. REQUIRED SKILLS In depth knowledge of ColdFusion(CFML) and experience working with CFC's and custom CF tags Experience building interactive corporate web sites from wireframes and graphic designs Experience analyzing and transforming high-level business requirements into functional code.
