Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer/Systems Architect will have exposure to a wide breadth of technologies and web development practices working collaboratively will all functional teams of the business. Candidates should be able to relocate to Northern California. The Engineer/Architect will provide structure with an understanding of all aspects of the software development cycle, creating documentation, QA, testing, and reporting standards to be implemented company wide. Essential Job Functions: ⢠Develop e-commerce tools and business applications to streamline internal practices ⢠Spearhead innovative technology driven initiatives to improve user experiences ⢠Analyze and optimize system architecture scalability, efficiency, and stability ⢠Create and monitor coding, QA, and testing standards ⢠Oversee database functionality, clustering data centers for high traffic use ⢠Rapid production of functional mock ups and templates from verbal specs or PSDs ⢠Work with the cross-functional teams to forecast programming resources ⢠Comfort with juggling multiple large and complex projects under strict deadlines Required Skills: ⢠Strong experience and aptitude to learn web development and scripting languages ⢠Highly developed SQL, relational data structures, and DBA skills ⢠Experience working in a high traffic, e-commerce environment ⢠Demonstrated experience in budgetary oversight Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Stock Purchase Program, Gym Membership, Education Reimbursement, Employee Purchase Program, and Paid Vacations after probationary periods.
