Description: We are looking for an MSSQL DBA with significant industry experience and exposure to a wide breadth of web development practices, working collaboratively will all functional teams of the business. DBAâs will work in fast-paced deadline driven environment. Candidates should be able to work from our Chico offices and remotely. The DBA will provide structure and an understanding of all aspects of database administration and how it impacts the software development cycle. Creation of documentation, QA, testing, and reporting standards will be developed and implemented company wide. Essential Job Functions: ⢠Oversee database functionality, clustering data centers for high traffic use ⢠Installing, upgrading, servicing, migration, backup, and maintenance of existing data structures ⢠Develop new SQL architectures, write scripts and codes to support site launches ⢠Develop e-commerce tools and business applications to streamline internal practices ⢠Created architectures that facilitate easy collaboration between design and programming ⢠Analyze and optimize system architecture scalability, efficiency, and stability ⢠Create and monitor coding, QA, and testing standards ⢠Troubleshoot data and query errors as reported by team members ⢠Rapid production of functional mock ups and templates from verbal specs or PSDs ⢠Work with the cross-functional teams to forecast programming resources ⢠Comfort with juggling multiple large and complex projects under strict deadlines Required Skills: ⢠Highly developed SQL, relational data structures, and DBA skills ⢠Experience working in a high traffic, e-commerce environment ⢠Extensive project management experience and dedication to deadlines Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Stock Purchase Program, Gym Membership, Education Reimbursement, Employee Purchase Program, and Paid Vacations after probationary periods. Requirements: Requires 3-4 years experience working with MSSQL and at least one year experience working with high traffic sites with extensive retail data structures.
