Job description: Experion Systems, Inc. specializes in building trusted advisor sites for financial, insurance and government clients. We are looking for a talented senior application developer to take responsibility for a large ColdFusion system. This position will be responsible for a rules-based, eligibility screening and applicant web site that also includes a content management component. Responsibilities: - Be the primary engineer for the application. - Translate business requirements into technical designs. - Design new features and functionality in support of strategic marketing initiatives. - Take part in architectural design decisions. - Redesign sections of the database. - Take full responsibility for development and enhancement of core components. - Estimate work effort and work with the project manager to set timelines. - Support user acceptance testing. - Setup and deploy client web sites as sales for branded sites and/or web services integrations are made. - Coordinate deployments with client IT staff located across the US. Required Skills: - Five or more years experience developing data driven web applications. - Minimum of two to three years experience developing ColdFusion applications. - Experience designing database tables. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Work well in a small team setting. Any of these skills are a plus: - Web Services / SOA. - AJAX, CSS or JavaScript. - Linux shell scripting. This is a fulltime position. At this time we are not able to sponsor visa candidates.
