Digital Positions, a 13-year-old web development firm in Buckhead is looking to fill an important seat in our busy dev team. We want to find a programmer with aptitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and be an integral part of a tight team. You will get experience working on a wide variety of projects in a wide variety of industries using cutting edge technologies and techniques. Please send your resume and salary requirements to: Ben Wakeman, Director of Application Development [EMAIL PROTECTED] Responsibilities: * Routinely develop solid data-driven web sites built on our boomsocket CMS platform * Participate in managing, supporting and evangelizing the open source release of boomsocket * Work comfortably within a dynamic team where pair-programming is a common practice * Stay abreast of current technologies and industry trends * Act as technical liaison with ColdFusion hosting vendors * Help maintain internal development server environments and SVN Required Skills: * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Self-motivated, reliable and diligent * Comfortable taking constructive criticism and direction * Minimum 3 years development experience in at least one of the following: (ColdFusion, .NET, PHP) * Minimum 2 years Microsoft SQL Server * Superior SQL skills and ability to design relational data models * Experience developing modular, distributed applications that leverage component architecture * In depth understanding of application architecture * Solid working knowledge of Javascript * Demonstrated skill with CSS and CSS layouts Bonus Skills: * Experience developing in Adobe Flex 2.0 * Knowledge/experience with MySQL, Oracle and/or other databases * Java or other OOP programming languages * Windows system administration experience * Experience with Content Management Systems like Joomla, FarCry, Common Spot, etc. * Any graphic design experience with Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash, etc. * Any musical ability (jaw harp, kazoo and air guitar do not count) Compensation/Benefits: Pay is negotiable based on skill and experience.
