TEKgroup International is seeking a beginner programmer/content manager for the
preparation (html coding and formatting) and publication of documents,
management of an extensive Website toolset and basic CF programming. This
person will need the ability to exercise good editorial judgment in response to
client requests for posting content as well as have the basic CF skills needed
to perform minor bug fixes, site enhancements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate media site projects with web developers
- Act as liaison between client staff and TEKgroup management
- Troubleshoot technical problems encountered by site users.
- Use online Content Management System to add/edit/manage customerâs website.
Skills Needed:
- Basic HTML â especially tables.
- Basic Cold Fusion (CF) programming.
- Knowledge of the Internet and Web page design and creation. Experience with
publishing tools and HTML editing programs is helpful.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, digital photography standards an asset.
- Good writing/proofreading skills, attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of press release standards, some Journalism classes helpful.
- Ability to communicate effectively and multi-task.
In addition, this position will require applicant to have reliable
transportation as s/he will spend a portion of the time working on-site at
clients in the Washtenaw/Wayne County area.
