My company is looking for multiple senior ColdFusion developers for a
short-term onsite contract in San Francisco.

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY, with established ability to work in the US, please.
We are located 3 blocks from a BART station, in the Financial District, so
by local, I mean, currently lives somewhere in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This gig is full-time, hourly, onsite through July (perhaps longer),
regularish business hours, starting immediately, on a website for Adobe. The
application will be employing Mach II (pre-1.5), ColdSpring, and Transfer on
ColdFusion 8 with an Oracle database. There will be several CFers on the
team in addition to front-end developers, DHTML developers, QA engineers,
designers, actual project managers, and possibly Flex developers. The plan
is to pass the entirety of the views to the front-end team, basically
leaving our team with the model and associated pieces parts. We even have
on-staff Oracle DBAs to help with Oracle specific issues.

There are several external standards to which our team will be required to
adhere, some of which are best practices written by Sean Corfield. I have
already started planning the model and some of the objects. You would be
working under me and I may occasionally dictate the way that something needs
to be implemented but generally, I will defer to your expertise, especially
in your area of the site. If you have a problem with any of these things, or
you think that women can't be good programmers, please don't waste my time.
I am way too swamped to deal with any more candidates like that right now.
Thank you in advance. :D

Several years of ColdFusion experience, MX or higher is required.
The ability to catch on quickly is required-- July deadline, July deadline,
July deadline.

Previous experience in the following is greatly appreciated:
Mach II in a version prior to 1.5
ColdSpring
Transfer
Asynchronous gateways

If you do not have experience in these specific frameworks, but you have
experience in any other ColdFusion frameworks, that may be applicable
experience so please let me know.

"Business attire" is not required. We don't care if you have a railroad
spike through your nose and your entire scalp is tattooed. Office hours are
flexible but I try to get in by 10. Some working from home is allowed.

Please send resumes with a blurb about your applicable experience and your
availability. Thanks!
Jen Larkin
