TEKsystems has an immediate Contract to PERM opportunity available for a System and Application Developer.
* This position is with a greatclient with EXCELLENT Full-Time Benefits * The successful candidate will implement and maintain applications and systems and will assist in the creation of development methodologies and standards. The candidate will also analyze current processes and make recommendations in the evolution of HRIS systems and applications. Day to Day Responsibilities: 1. Designs and develops HRIS/HR application and systems based on identified requirements using industry best practices. 2. Provides regular ongoing maintenance and support for the HRIS/HR applications. Activities may include installing software upgrades; implementing fixes and enhancements; executing production runs; backing up and restoring procedures; administering security/access protocols; etc. 3. Liaises with various technology areas to monitor the emergence of enterprise solutions, maintain existing dependencies and identify potential shared services. QUALIFICATIONS - 1. 3-5 years experience in web application development using ColdFusion or Java 20 2. Knowledge of object oriented programming and relational database concepts (preferably Oracle) 3.
