Re: Coldfusion Development To whom it may concern: I have over 30 years experience in Information Technology and have recently retired as a Managing Partner for Clarkston Consulting. Clarkston is a mid-sized full service consulting firm with about 300 employees. I was the founder of Clarkstonâs e-Business practice in 1998. I am interested in doing Coldfusion development on either a full-time or part-time contract basis. While my duties at Clarkston were of a management nature, during the last six years, I have also been a partner in a start-up company that developed and successfully marketed a large, comprehensive Coldfusion application. I was the principle architect and developer for this application and supervised a development team of four other programmers. This application is currently running in CF version 7 and we have tested it in CF 8. It makes extensive use of MS SQL. My specific relevant experience and skill sets include: Six years of complex Coldfusion design and development Six years of MS SQL architecture, design and implementations (SQL 2000 and SQL 2005) Code reviews and maintenance of code developed by other programmers Extensive use of complex CF structures and arrays Javascript implementation on CF pages for client-side data validation Use of custom CF tags and functions Design and development of B2B and B2C e-Commerce applications. Although I have been an executive for the latter part of my career, I love programming and believe I have a natural talent in this area. I can submit code samples on request.
