Job Description: Under general supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots and analyzes software programs for computer based systems. Performs systems modeling, simulation and analysis. At a more senior level, performs subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, subsystem and system integration and test for a subsystem. Participates in software requirements review, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness review and software acceptance reviews. May also support proposal efforts. Also, may act as technical project leader or provide work leadership for lower level employees. Responsibilities: ⢠Position would provide both application software development support and sustaining engineering support for web-based systems using Cold Fusion, Javascript, and JAVA with Oracle and SQL Servers as the DBMS. ⢠Has ability to work with customers (end-users, business unit managers, senior managers) to define requirements and manage issues surrounding software development. ⢠Can effectively communicate with all levels of management, and fully informs management of pertinent issues and progress on projects. Qualifications: ⢠BA/BS degree with 3 years of web development experience or AA/AS degree with 5 years of web development experience are required. ⢠3 years of experience in ColdFusion, Javascript, and SQL Server are a must. ⢠Fusebox, JAVA, and Oracle experiences along with CMMI/Software Development Process Model knowledge are desired.
