Job Title: Coldfusion Developer Department: Marketing
Reports To: VP of Marketing Essential Duties: · This position is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of our internal and external Coldfusion based applications, to include integration with our ERP system through web services and ODBC and the development and maintenance of our e-commerce assets. · Essential function duties and responsibilities include: · Design, develop, test, and debug all Coldfusion based applications · Create front-end common gateway interfaces that integrate seamlessly with back-end databases and business systems · Diagnose and troubleshoot problems · Re-engineer/design/maintain existing applications so that they are compliant with our vision moving forward · Assist in identifying and recommending current and emerging technologies, features and applications · Monitor and update all Coldfusion based applications Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate should have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. In addition, the candidate should have the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Skills required include: Thorough knowledge of MS Windows Server 2003 / IIS 6.0 Thorough knowledge of MS SQL server, Coldfusion server (8+) Thorough knowledge and significant prior experience with CFML, CFCâs, XML, HTML, Javascript, CSS, AJAX, and T-SQL Excellent verbal and written communication skills Passion for excellence and exactitude Team player Additional Skills Desired: EAV Database design principles a plus Must provide example source code demonstrating skills We are a growing and dynamic linear motion products manufacturer who offers a safe DRUG FREE work place, competitive wages and an excellent benefits package.
