Thinkwell is seeking a Senior Cold Fusion Developer with advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server 2000/2005 and IIS/6,7 for a full time position in Austin, TX. Thinkwell is an innovative publishing company in downtown Austin, TX. We produce award-winning multimedia for high school and college students worldwide.
Responsibilities: Successful candidates will participate in developing new features, reviewing and enhancing existing products and maintaining Thinkwell's internal systems. Duties include systems design and administration as well as programming, testing, debugging, code reviews and team member mentoring. Requirements: Candidates will have at least 6 years of experience developing web applications. Must be proficient in using ColdFusion MX 7/8, including working with CFCs and using object oriented design. Understanding of relational database design, T-SQL, stored procedures and experience administering MS SQL Server is essential for this position. Working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, AJAX are required. ColdFusion and IIS server administration skills are a plus. Knowledge of other web technologies, especially Flash and/or Flex is very helpful.
