Develops code, tests/debugs code and proves support for all ColdFusion applications. Documents design, procedures, manuals and other documentation as necessary for applications. Builds, codes and tests complex application features and technical designs. Programs middleware and back-end development and builds stored procedures. Assists staff members with adding content in the CMS as necessary. Reports to Manager, Web Development.
Required Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, or a similar discipline * A minimum of two (2) years professional IT experience working with ColdFusion MX 7/8 and MS SQL Server 2000 or higher, with a history of accurate and high-quality work * Experience with the project development life cycle Required Skills: * ColdFusion MX 7/8; MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 * HTML/XHTML/DHTML/JavaScript/AJAX and CSS * Solid knowledge of relational database design and development including T-SQL and stored procedures * Strong documentation and debugging/QA skills * Experience with Adobe Flash, Adobe Flex, or XML/XSLT is a plus * Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work well both individually as well as with other (often non-technical) team members Pleasant and professional work environment; downtown Manhattan location.
