This is a team oriented position where the Application Engineer designs, implements, maintains, and releases production level applications as defined by the software specifications and the business requirements agreed upon by the customer. Participates in application design sessions with database engineers and works closely with systems analysts, who develops the business and software specifications for the project needs. This position demands the highest level of quality, completeness, and innovation. Works at the direction of the Commercial Software Development Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES ⢠Prefer bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, or 3-5 years practical experience using ColdFusion, ColdFusion MX, SQL, JavaScript, C#, ASP.NET ⢠Experience in developing web applications with ColdFusion is a must. Practical experience with C# .NET and SQL is plus. ⢠Ability to create clean and professional GUI interfaces. ⢠Ability to create clean, commented, and optimized Object Oriented designed code. ⢠Experienced in fundamental relational database design. ⢠Proficient with basic SQL skills such as writing queries and stored procedures. ⢠Capable of automating conversion processes. ⢠Ensures that all information is presented in the proper sequence, format, and functionality to satisfy the business rules and quality requirements of the customer. ⢠Documents all development activities to accommodate future maintenance. ⢠Follows recommended practices for code versioning, data protection, and production releases. ⢠Available for overtime per project requirements. ⢠Produces documentation or services in accordance to schedule.
